Well, here we are inside the mind of Jason Whitlock. Jason Whitlock seems to come off as a no non sense type of guy. On the other hand, his statements represent the new larger social class in the black community. It could appear Jason Whitlock is trying to be a KRS ONE the hip hop artist. If you remember this KRS ONE line, the KRS ONE phase went something like this, �I am not here to re enforce stereotypes of today. Like all my brother eating chicken and watermelon and drug selling�. Whitlock may not be KRS ONE but , he is that new 25% that is in a new article in Essence magazine.
Whitlock represents the new 25% that wants to be accepted and not shamed at the bar, dinner table, social gathers of the larger population in America or any activity. By this I mean, there are 25% of the African American population that may be on a better lifestyle level. While this new 25% is there, they don�t want to be associated with any stereotypical related to the African American population. The main reason is no matter where you go there you are. You cannot change the fact that you are black or, you look like certain group of people. So what do you do to separate yourself from those images.
One practice has been to shame the highest images in the land if they don�t fit the mainstream. For example, if a group has a large following but the mainstream does not agree with various statements in the past. You can shame them or point out flaws as to why you don�t agree . Although this 25% has benefited very little from the action of various forces in the political spectrum, the 25% have benefited.
In conclusion, Jason Whitlock has no blood on his had to have a lot of valid points to social structure or change. The blood on his hand statements means a history of being active in the community. One would suggest his mind stay focused on right foot left shoulder. This is a blocking technique of offense of linemen or, he can do him and continue to write about sports.
