The United States Army Reserves was honored on Capital Hill to celebrate their 102 anniversary. This event allowed some people to re enlist to enjoy the honor.

The National Capitol Reenlistment Ceremony gives the U.S. Army Reserve, currently 206,000 strong, a unique opportunity to recognize high-performance Soldiers who have chosen to commit to continued service (thousands of Soldiers re-enlist year-round). Lt. Gen. Jack Stultz, Chief, Army Reserve, performed the oath of office.

"By re-enlisting here today, these Soldiers demonstrated their commitment to our nation and their communities, and they showed the selfless service and personal courage required to protect our way of life and keep all of our families safe," Stultz said. "As part of the next generation of Army Reserve leadership, they will ensure our ability to shape the force to meet the security challenges of the future."
