The buzz in New York is Micheal Jackson is in talks with Kehinde Wiley. Wiley is best known for painting African American males in classic Renaissance scenes. Although Wiley has a customers list of well know people such as Denzel Washington and Elton John, Jackson still may have problems with closing this deal.
Wiley is is quoted as saying the following.
"Michael Jackson is calling me. We're discussing exactly what it will involve. He saw my work at the Brooklyn Museum and was taken with it, so he had his people contact me. I thought it was a joke at first, so I ignored it for the longest time. Then he contacted a friend of mine who's an actor, so I knew it was for real."
What will Micheal Jackson request of Wiley? For the estimated price of 10 million, Jackson fans will be happy or maybe not. At this point in time , this attempt to put Jackson in a new form of art is steal developing.
