Chuck Phillips at this point in time my remind people of Scott Templeton the character from the HBO Wire. If you recall, Templeton had some questionable behavior as a report for the Baltimore Sun. Well, Phillips allegedly may have similar character but Phillips did win his award just like Templeton did in the show. Recently, Templeton oh , I mean Phillips. I get the two so confused. Recently, Phillips, a Los Angeles Times reporter, wrote a story about Tupac and his murder and made various allegations about various players in the hip hop game.

Although Phillips' story my need further study, he failed to mention a 350 million lawsuit that may break the back of his city. If the Small’s family wins the refiled lawsuit, this will put a major hurting on the Los Angeles community. With a movie in the works, the movie may embarrass many and form a public opinion. Some feel it is the best interest of the city to have a story published to change the focuses from operations in the City of Los Angeles to various entities in the hip hop community.

According to Front Page Magazine and the Rolling Stone, A Sanders made the following comment.

“I know that somebody in a position of power at that newspaper (The L.A. Times) has an agenda. I don’t know what it is, but I know that it involves discrediting our case and protecting the city from this lawsuit.”

With a powerful statement like this , people have to ask. How did two urban kids gain so much power and influences? What does the state of California and the city of Los Angeles have to hide. The only facts we have with this battle over good and evil is that Chuck Phillips works for the man and sometime for the other side too.
