The Baltimore County African American Cultural Festival for 2008 in Towson, MD went off wonderfully. This family oriented event went off without any problems. This is an annual event held in Baltimore County Maryland and focuses on positive images for the black community. The event has vendors and entertainment. The entertainment head liners were GO GO music legend Chuck Brown , Marcus Johnson, Chubb Rock and new artist such as Shadina and Voice.
Shadina beat out Alica Keys at number one over in Europe with her hot single. Voice is a new artist out of Philadelphia. It appears the industry is bring black men with straight hair back into the game but, don't like the Billy Dee Williams look fool you. Voice can sing. Voice will more then likely be jocking for Chris Brown spot with the ladies.
Last but not least, Chubb Rock came out of the wood works to show people how New Yorkers party and Chuck Brown showed people how DC parties. This event is one to see. There are pictures below.
