Zane is one of the most successful erotica writers to date. She has published many books under her pen name Zane and now has a publishing company. This success has lead to the branding of her works. Cinemax now has a show titled the Sex Chronicles which is based off one of Zane's book.
Although Zane has a large fan base and is a New York Times best selling author, she appears not to be receiving too much love from the Black Press or any press. Zane made recent comments on one of her blogs about the radio industry not giving her interviews after the airing of the Sex Chronicles. Zane is almost begging her fans to call the radio stations. She wants her fans to call their local radio station and ask them to interview Zane and, this will further help promote the show that allegedly received over one million viewers during the first show.
