Al-Qaeda's second in command made some recent statements about Obama and Malcolm X. Malcolm X was a 60's civil rights leader and activist who happen to practice the Islamic faith. Malcolm X was gun down in the 1960's. Doing Al-Qaeda's statement, he presented Malcolm X and President Elect Barack Obama in a collage style picture. This picture could give the impression that Malcolm X supports Al-Qaeda and that Obama is Muslim and if Obama were Muslim, it still would not matter. He has never supported Al-Qaeda nor any other terrorist group based on his history as an American citizen.
Although Al-Qaeda presented Malcolm X as a supporter and called Obama a house Negro, Malcolm X's family member was Larry King Live to present the X family in a postive light. While this family member defended Obama and her father, King's show presented old film footage where Malcome X made reference to the a House Negro and people in the African American community at that time in the 1960's. This footage appeared out of context and put the family member in a bad position but , it still did not hurt the family members cause.
The representative for the X family state her father would have supported Obama and not Al-Qeada. She also made reference that Islam was a religion of peace and not hate.
