People are asking one question about Mathew Knowles. Why did Kelly Rowland fire him? No that is not it. Is Key Rowland his daughter? Hmmmm, no that is it. Is Mathew Knowles planning to retire for various reason unnamed.
At this point time , streetroachpics.com does not have answer for you but recently Mathew Knowles gave back to his community in the form of education. Knowles was in invited back to his Fisk University. Knowles is an alumni of Fisk.
Knowles was ask to teach classes at the University on the subject matter relating to Global and Community Lecture series. Knowles taught a music business class to students and a lecture series entitled "Thinking Outside the Box" that was open for students and the community to attend. During the lecture, ”Thinking Outside of the Box: Ten Traits of Successful People”, Knowles emphasized critical thinking and a hands-on approach to goal and achievement that involves pursuing and landing career-based internships as well as networking with fellow students to pursue similar professional and career interests. The classes were presented during the 2008-2009 school year and received rave reviews from both the students and the University.
“I was honored to receive my honorary doctorate and have the opportunity to give back by teaching at Fisk, my alma mater. Mentoring our youth is so very important to me. It’s been a pleasure and opportunity to work with so many bright and creative young students and share real life lessons, as they transition and prepare for their futures. It’s been fun and I look forward to returning to teach again this year”, states Mathew Knowles, President and CEO, Music World Entertainment.
Knowles has planned to return again to his alma mater in the fall of 2009 to present a three-part entertainment industry seminar for Fisk’s music and business majors.
“Our students have shared with us the value of Mathew Knowles’ lectures as they have learned lessons about management, promotion, production and distribution of music,” said Fisk President Hazel R. O’Leary. “Mathew urged our students to develop and execute their ideas and also provided insider tips on decision making as well as success in the entertainment industry.”
Knowles’ received his Doctor of Humane Letters during the University’s Commencement 2008 ceremony. In his acceptance speech, Knowles’ recalled that his first thoughts of success as a leader in the entertainment world began at Fisk and that he welcomed the opportunity to give back to his alma mater.
